La sección inferior tiene un corte con un plano oblicuo a su altura, con una superficie de intersección rectangular que es la base sobre la que se distribuye el peso de toda la obra, como único punto de apoyo, garantizando un balance de masa hacia los costados entre ambas secciones cilíndricas.
